TPAND DG Bags Most Outstanding CEO 2023 Award
The Director General of the Tinubu Presidential Ambassadors of Nigeria and Diaspora (TPAND) and the deputy director, Diaspora directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2003 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Engr Yusuf Hussaini on Saturday, July 8, was awarded the most outstanding CEO of 2023 at this year’s prestigious Africa CEO merit award.
The event which was held by the Goodwill Ambassador Event Agency took place at the Nigerian National Merit Award House in Maitama at the heart of the nation’s capital city and witnessed a star studded array of personalities that included Hajia Suma Adamu, Haj Ogunsesun Wahid, Alhaji Bashir Maji, Alhaji Abdul Hassan, Hillary Agbua, Hajia Princess Fatima Yusuf, Princess Chinwemere Chukwu, Queen Ambassador Isabella Anyaoku, Alfred Coker, Are Adetola Emmanuel Olanipekun King, Ruth Tembe and Engr Mohammed Tukur Lawal.
Hussaini’s relentless efforts significantly contributed to the triumphant victory of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola as the President of Nigeria. The African CEO Merit Awards acknowledged his exemplary impact in the business sector, where his leadership and vision have made a lasting impression. This prestigious accolade serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication and exceptional accomplishments.
Speaking during the occasion, the chairman of the Goodwill Ambassador, Dr Chris Odey said the award was instituted to promote Africa and Africans doing great things both in the continent and around the world. And that the award has been an avenue for like and progressive minds across the continent to meet and collaborate and has been a veritable platform for the promotion of the Nigerian tourism sector.
The theme of this year’s award which is the 7th in an annual series is the Effect of Monetary Policies in Managing Inflation and Driving Economic Growth in Africa.
On his part, Engr Hussaini said the award serves as an encouragement to continue to do more towards the upliftment of our great country Nigeria and Africa in general and that he believes that the new administration of President Bola Tinubu will make an unprecedented and indelible milestone in transforming the lives of the Nigerian youths, hence his all out and consistent support for the new APC led federal government.
Hussaini said, “I appreciate the organizers of this event for honoring. It makes me feel great on being rewarded for the effort we have put together so far. I feel overwhelmed and honoured about the meritorious award that has been given to me and the award is purely dedicated to all TPAND members, that is the Tinubu Presidential Ambassadors of Nigeria and Diaspora, which i was the DG. I dedicate this award to all my nationals because without them there is no me. They put in all their heart, they were there for me, night and day. This award is purely dedicated to them because without them i wouldn’t be here today.
“I also receive this award on behalf of the Nigerian youths, both home and in the diaspora, and i believe it would spur me to do more for the emancipation and inclusion of the youths in politics and also other sectors for more rounded development and transformation of our beloved Nigeria’, Hussaini added.
