A head of November 11, kogi State governorship election, the Social Democratic party SDP has assured teachers and staff of the local government council that their anguish, pain and impoverishment that bedeviled them will soon be over if they vote enmasse for Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka and Sam Abenemi during the election .
Addressing a large crowd of Social Democratic party Supporters , various interest groups and residents of Gadumo, and Ganaja suburb areas of Lokoja explained that if they vote out the non performing All Progressives Congress led government in the state ,the government that will be placed by their permanent voter cards will turnaround the mess and unfortunate situation experiencing over the last seven years.
The SDP Governorship runningmate who served at various times, as state commissioner of water resources and executive chairman of Lokoja local government council hinted that the party and its candidate have a well thought out and integrated master plan to bring socio-economic transformation to all the nooks and crannies of the state..
Chief Sam Ranti Abenemi enjoined the citizens to harness the current opportunity of the issuance of permanent voter cards by the Independent National Election Commission [INEC to approach the commission to obtain their permanent voter cards to cast their voters for Muri/Sam candidate as votes will counts as the Federal government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not condone violence and election fraud which were observed in the past
According to him, when the government is formed by January 27,2024, an interest Free loan of five hundred thousand naira will be given to thirty thousand women in the twenty one local government areas in the first phase to boost their economic wellbeing and thereby demystifying abject poverty among the women.
And for Youth and men , Chief Sam Ranti Abenemi, opined that resources will be allocated for them to deplore their vitality and agilities into agri-business activities to enable them become self-reliance and allowing them to participate actively in the socio-economic transformation of the state.
He posited that the people have a date with history by voting out Governor ‘Yahaya Bello Agenda’ by rejecting Alh.Ahmed Ododo Usman , whom he is bringing as his third term agenda
”The sharing of three cups of rice and five hundred naira to the people from the palliatives brought in by the Federal government to cushion the harsh effect of the fuel subsidy removal by the state should be regarded as a big slap on the sensibility of the citizens whose power are resided with.
The coordinator for Muri-Ajaka/Sam for Gadumo and Ganaja areas, various women groups and Associations that at the occasion expressed optimistic of overwhelming victory of Muritala Yakubu as they can not continue the hardship any longer.
