Kogi Election: LP drags Enemona Abu to security agencies for undermining Supreme court Judgement.
The Labour Party in Kogi state on Sunday said that it has reported Dr  Vincent Enemona Abu to security agencies for allegedly undermining the supreme Court judgement which affirmed Barrister Adejoh Okeme as the Governorship candidate of the party in the November 11 election.
Addressing Newsmen in Lokoja on Sunday the State publicity Secretary of the party, Idakwo Emmanuel, said that Dr Abu has allegedly laying claim to be the governorship candidate which is contrary to the Supreme Court judgment FHC/ABJ/CS/598/2023 which upheld the candidacy of Barrister Adejoh Okeme.
He said that the party’s Executives has then decided to report him the security Agencies for parading himself as the Governorship candidate with a view to deceiving people into raising funds for himself.
“A combination of Labour Party State Executives in Kogi State and local government chairmen and their secretaries has come to a collective agreement that the attention of both the DSS, Nigeria Police Force and all other security agencies in Nigeria must be drawn to the unlawful behaviuor of Col. (Dr) Vincent Enemona Abu (Rtd), who after a Federal High court judgement in Abuja, suit number:FHC/ABJ/CS/598/2023 Which upheld the legitimate candidacy of Barrister Adejoh Okeme, and the Supreme court judgement that has forever put to rest the apologetic display of shame of the Lamidi Apapa group, by affirming Julius Abure as the National chairman of Labour Party, has continue to cause confusion by parading himself as Kogi State Labour Party governorship candidate, in a bid to deceive our supporter and well wishers to give him financial support.
He said that those party supporters who has been giving financial supports  based on his false claims have been duped.
“All those giving financial support to Col. (Dr) Vincent Enemona Abu (Rtd) on the bases of his claims that he is the governorship candidate of labour party in Kogi State has been defrauded, as the man in question did not participate in the primary election that was conducted under the supervision of INEC.
He also expressed worry about the actions of a man that has worked in the military that most people will expect to have high morals and principles to stoop low to the point of disgracefully disrespecting lay down laws and principles as well as the judgement of the court, just because he wants to use the portfolio to make some money for himself.
“This rascality must stop and security agencies should probe him at this point. We will not seat back and watch any individual disregard the judgement of the highest court in the land” he added.
