The Nollywood Maestros , Yul Edochie, Jide Kosoko and Ambassador Sunny are in Lokoja , capital of Kogi state to scout for upcoming Music artiste , rising movie stars and stand up comedians from the state for the national and global entertainment industries.
The two day event which was organised by the Black wall Street Africa and Majesty international movie Lokongoma phase 1 in Lokoja is expected to discover new music , movie artiste and comedians to beef up the entertainment industry.
The event is aimed at unleashing and showcasing the potentials of young and talented girls and boys from kogi to the world.
The event which is holding in the sleepy corner of the town , saw over 25 young persons displaying their stuffs in order to be counted worthy for the selection for the onward music world of fame.
Speaking to Journalists in Lokoja, after the audition of 25 expectant youngster on Friday evening, the team lead of the Black wall Street Africa, Ambassador Sunny, one of the sons of Sunny Ade the JuJu Master, said the state is blessed with abundant talents waiting to be discovered and showcase to the world.
He noted that his organisation which is an international acclaimed talent hunts, would be meticulous in the selection for onward promotion and marketing to the Lagos entertainment hub and beyond.
While berating the attitude of the participants for not taking the event seriously, advise them to brace up for the grand finale on Saturday that will see to the selection of three best artiste for further promotion to the outside world.
He said , qualities that will attract his attention includes, vocal dexterity; lyrics, presentation, appearance, others are performance,stage craft , attitude and audience interaction , and advice participants to take the hunt with utmost attention as it has the power to make them stars in the industry.
Ambassador Sunny, as he is fondly known commended the promoter of the Majesty International college Lokoja, for the initiative and promised to be meticulous in their judgement.
He disclosed that the star prize would go home with one million and five hundred thousand naira, while the runner up and third positions would smile home with one million naira and five hundred thousand naira respectively.
Those on the panel include, K . Solo, Prince Moore and PMAN representative.
The grand finale is expected to commence at 10am Saturday, 25, 2023 at the same venue and is expected to be explosive as many notable Nollywood exponents would be on ground to add colour to the show.
