African welter weight wrestler, commends Gov’ Ododo over appointment of Anyebe , commissioner for Youths, Sports Development.
An African Middle Weight wrestling Champion, Aliking Attai Muhammad, has praised kogi state Governor Ahmed Usman over the appointment of Hon. Monday Anyebe , a youthful youth as Commissioner for Youth and sports Development.
Boxer ,Aliking Attai Muhammad gave the commendation during his familiarisation VisIt to the newly Commissioner for Youth and sports Development Hon Monday Anyebe in his office in Lokoja.
Aliking Muhammad who is also an ambassador of Action Disaster of Nigeria described the appointment of the Commissioner as well deserved and commended the government for putting square peg in a square hole.s
The visitor , who is also the World Welter Weight Champion said the aims of his visit was to inform the Commissioner that
arrangement are on for the African Top class Pro- Wrestling Stars (ATWS) middle weight title defense billed to take place at the confluence city of Kogi state on Sunday 31st of March, 2024.
The championship tagged ‘STARS ON PARADE 2024’ will parade wrestlers of international standard and repute from Nigeria, Congo DRC, Benin Republic, Mali, South Africa, Uganda and Cameron and will provide the Kogi State born international wrestler the opportunity of defending his African Middle weight belt title against The Black Tiger of Cameroon on his home soil of Lokoja, the Confluence State Capital.
Aliking said the visit was to officially welcome Hon Monday A Anyebe and Congratulate him on his appointment as Commissioner for Youth and sports Development.
He appealed to the Commissioner for his support for the success of the Programme and assured of his support to his administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Responding the kogi state Commissioner for Youth and sports Development Hon Monday A Anyebe said , the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has total passion for sporting activities in the state.
Hon. Anyebe said Youth development is one of the focal points under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s government saying he will use his office through the efforts of the Governor to make the Youth in the state happy.
The commissioner called on the sons and daughters of the state to support the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo towards the progress and development of the state.
Hon. Monday A Anyebe assured a kogi born African Middle Weight Champion , Aliking Attai Muhammad towards the promotion of sporting activities in the state and thanked him for his visit.
