We members of the Forum of Ex-political office Holders of the 21 LG who served between 2013-2016 wish to heartily congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, The Executive Governor of Kogi State on his well deserved victory at the tribunal.
The judgment is a clear manifestation of the fact that the people of Kogi State genuinely voted massively for the Governor in the November 11, 2023 Governorship election in the state . We are praying fervently for repeat of the victory at both Court of Appeals and supreme court and it shall come to pass by God’s grace.
The mammoth crowd that received the Governor back to the state during his ‘Home Coming’ indicates the love, support and confident the good people of the state have for the Governor.
The Forum will continue to sincerely appreciate the support and solidarity the Governor extended to us that culminated in the payment of arrears of our salaries and allowances during the tenure of our dependable Leader and Mentor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello the immediate past Governor of Kogi State while he was serving as the Auditor General for Local Government, Kogi State. We have absolute belief that he will continue from where the Former Governor stopped.
We are calling on opposition parties and well meaning kogites to join hands with the Governor to pilot the affairs of the state to an enviable height..
A careful look at the programs and activities of his Administration within the short time he has so far spent in office shows clearly that the state is on the path to greatness under his watch.
We want to pledge our unalloyed and unwavering support to his administration come rain or shine.
