Igalamela/Odolu LGA APC Caucus Rallies Behind Governor Ododo, Hails ‘New Dawn’ in Kogi

In a show of unity and solidarity, the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi state  has pledged total loyalty and support to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,’s  administration promising to address developmental needs of the people.
At a well-attended meeting, the caucus praised the governor’s efforts in uniting the people, paying civil servants’ salaries promptly, and embarking on people-oriented projects.
They  caucus also lauded the recent award of contracts for township road rehabilitation and urged the governor to include Igalamela/Odolu in the next phase.
Former Minister of state Labour, Professor Stephen Ikani Ocheni, expressed optimism that Governor Ododo’s leadership has brought a new dawn to Kogi State, prioritizing civil servants’ welfare, security, and meaningful projects.
He noted that the administration’s focus on the welfare of civil servants, security of lives and property, and other meaningful projects have given hope to the people that a new era of good governance has begun.
The caucus also commended the Transition Chairman, Barrister Cosmas Atabor, for his leadership qualities and urged him to sustain the momentum. They called on members to support all APC programmes at the local government and state levels, emphasizing the supremacy of the party.
This show of support demonstrates the party’s unity and commitment to Governor Ododo’s vision for a better Kogi State, and signal a new era of cooperation and prosperity.
 The caucus also reviewed the performance of the Transition Chairman of Igalamela /Odolu Local Government Area, Barrister Cosmas Atabor, and commended his leadership qualities, calling on him to sustain the momentum.
Professor Stephen Ocheni urged members  to ensure all programmes of APC in the Local Government and State levels are fully supported, saying the supremacy of the party remains sacrosanct.
The caucus meeting  was attended by Hon Sumaila Ina Hussaini, a former member of the House of Representatives, the Assembly member representing the Area, Hon Major Enefola, the Transition Chairman of the Local Government, Barrister Cosmas Atabor, immediate past Chairman of the Local Government, Mr James Onoja, a former Assembly member from the Area, Hon Friday Makama Sani, the Party Chairman, Halilu Ochiedi and a former Caretaker Chairman of the Local by Government, Hon Ali Atabor as well as Hon Patrick Onogu, a former Administrator of the Local Government.
