A family statement which was dully signed by a member of the family and a one time Chief Of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin, said the prayer session will hold at the deceased family’s compound at Okula Olafiya in Dekina Local government area.
The statement further stated that the prayer will commence at twelve noon and adviced attendants to be punctual
It will be Called that the Late Naval General passed on Sunday this weekend after a brief illness at Abuja,the federal capital territory .
He is survived by a Wife , children, Grand children and family members.
The deceased served as Chief Of Defense Staff between 1999-2003, during the administration of chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
