Kogi Handball chairman,Ojih Saidu, presents Handballs, Jerseys, prizes to Idah Pillars, Inikpi babes in Kogi

The kogi state chairman of the Nigeria Handball Association, Jibrin Ojih Saidu has presented handball kits and prizes to Idah Pillars and Idah babes, the two leading handball teams in the state.
The chairman made the donations and awards through his Geogojih foundation yesterday in Idah , headquarters of Idah Local Government Council of kogi state .
He said the gifts are his modest contributions to the growth and development of grassroots sport in the state.
The chairman was represented by the Vice Chairman of the Association, Comrade Atabo Opaluwa Aminudeen at the Finals of the 6th Edition of the Ochemic Energy inter-Secondary school Handball championship in Idah.
He disclosed that the donation of Handballs , jerseys and prizes were to reward the Most valuable player, Male and Female, Highest goal scorer ,Male and Female: Best Goalkeeper ,Male and Female, and the Best behaved Team, Male and Female
Ojih who is also the Chief Executive Officer CEO of Geogojih foundation reiterated his commitment to keep supporting the development and growth of the game of handball in the state and across the country.
According to him” this donation demonstrates our commitment to growth and development of the game at the grassroots. We are committed to encourage and motivate young talented players and I’m confident that together with people of like minds , we will continue to do our best in ensuring that we return the game of Handball back to its rightful place” he assured.
He charged the beneficiaries to optimised the awards to boost their performances to ensuring that the teams find their rightful positions in the national league
