Prof. Ogbo declares Sign-Out illegal, introduces sweeping  reforms at PAAU

The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Prof. Usman Ogbo, has officially banned the practice of sign-out within the institution.
This directive forms part of the Vice Chancellor’s early administrative reforms aimed at strengthening discipline, improving student monitoring, and enhancing academic efficiency across the university.
He said Sign-out is no longer allowed in PAAU, Anyigba, advised to check their results  on the student portal.
He disclosed that Results will no longer be displayed on faculty or departmental notice boards.
According to the directive, the decision to move results fully online is expected to promote privacy, transparency, and easier access for students, while aligning the university with modern digital standards.
“Students are therefore advised to regularly check the official student portal for updates regarding their academic performance and other important information.
