Kogi Security Trust fund refurbishes NUJ Bus , solicits partnership
Kogi State Security Trust Fund has restated it’s commitment to partnership with organisations and security agencies to support them in area of logistics to achieve set goals.
The Chairman of the Trust Fund, Alhaji Abdulazeez Ozovehe Ohiare stated this in Lokoja at the presentation of refurbished bus of the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, to its Chairman, Alhaji Seidu Ademu Haruna.
Alhaji Abdulazeez said the Fund under the administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo is irrevocably committed to continue in its support to security agencies and organisations passionate in working in synergy with the Government to achieve set goals.
According to him, the State Trust Fund will continue to bridge the gap logistically especially provision and refurbishing of vehicles and motorcycles for security agencies.
He disclosed that over one hundred vehicles have been handed over to security agencies and two hundred hundred motorcycles for Vigilantes and hunters to perform their job of tackling crimes and criminality in the State.
In his remark, the Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Alhaji Seidu Ademu Haruna expressed appreciation to the Chairman of State Security Trust Fund for giving a lease of life by refurbishing the Council bus for the use of members.
He reassured of continued partnership with the Fund to achieve set goals.
Other organizations that benefitted from the Fund gesture are the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
