* Salute workers for support of his election
The chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Edibo Mark Ameh has advised council workers to intensify dedication and commitment to service and to avoid absenteeism and truancy in order not to running foul of the law.
The chairman gave the advice on Wednesday while on unschedule inspection of offices in the council secretariat, on Tuesday in Abejuko.
The chairman who appreciated the staff for the support of his election assured them of running purposive, purposeful and inclusive administration to fast track development of the LGA.
According to Hon. Edibo Mark Ameh “this exercise was aimed at assessing the working conditions of the staff, identifying any challenge or complaint, and evaluating the punctuality and commitment of workers’
He said , the interactions with the departmental heads, and staff is to carry out needs assessment and to rectify identifiable challenges.
” My inspection this morning is to identify any physical challenges you may be facing in your various offices. I enjoined you to key into the administration’s Renewed Hope mantra .You punctuality and commitment to work matters a lot, and we should all be serious in our points of duty” He said.
He therefore challenge the staffers to work in synergy with him to realise the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery.
He promise to regularly interface with them stressing that he is committed to rule by the fear of God to deliver the dividends of Democracy to the people.
