Hon. Umar Yahaya (Connect) has expressed profound grief and shock over the painful demise of his beloved friend, brother, and closest ally, Hon. Atanu Okpanachi Jonalson (Mugabe).

In a heartfelt remark this morning, Hon. Umar said the news came to him as a heavy blow, leaving him with deep sorrow and a sense of emptiness. “Truly, this world is not our permanent home. Death does not look at one’s face, humility, or goodness of heart before it strikes,” he lamented.

He described the passing of Hon. Atanu Okpanachi Jonalson (Mugabe) as an immense and monumental loss not only to him personally but also to the entire Omala political terrain and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State. His uncommon dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Omala will forever remain unforgettable.
