Kogi state Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja has assured the people of the state of the administration’s commitment to encouraging individuals and Organisations to establish projects that will have direct bearing on the well-being of the people.
Kogi state Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja gave the assurance at Inele -ugoh, in Olamaboro local government areas of kogi while inspecting some projects executed by a Non governmental organisation, Enemona Just foundation in the community at the weekend.
The deputy Governor , who commended the promoter of the Enemona Just Foundation ( EJF) Gabriel David for his numerous empowerment and employment opportunities for the people stressing that he has written his name in gold across the communities.
Edward Onoja hinted that the EJF empowerment programmes which were targeted at alleviating the sufferings of widows, orphans and the vulnerable marks him out among his peers through out kogi east.
He pointed out that the church building under construction by the foundation has further underscored the religious harmony that existed in the state under the present administration.
He therefore called on the youths in the Eastern zone of the state to align themselves with people that has vision to serve humanity rather than involving in anti social behaviours .
In his remarks,the promoter of EJF Gabriel David said the foundation is a Non-Governmental Organisation, founded primarily to Caretaker for the vulnerables , community development and nation building.
“Our aim is to improve the quality of lives of less privilege women, Widows , youths and children in our communities
“The 600 capacity church building we are constructing at Inele -ugoh will be donated to the United Evangelical Church (UEC) by April to serve the spiritual need of people of the community.” He disclosed.
