Imperative of Muri’s Emergence as Kogi Governor.

As the party primary for the All Progressives Congress draws nearer at every passing hour, the KogiYouthForumforGoodGovernance, is using this auspicious occasion to appeal to all party members across Kogi State to give it a wise thought on who will deliver the dividends of democracy to them in the next four years and who could be a worthy successor to Governor Yahaya Bello.
There is only one person that will do that efficiently and he is Hon. Murtala YakubuAjaka.
Hon. Murtala YakubuAjaka is a founding member of the APC,he worked as the Chief Security Officer of the party’s National Secretariat during the days of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
He was appointed by Hon. Mai Mala Buni, the Yobe state governor, as his aide from the party’s Secretariat to Yobe State government house after the CPC merged with other political parties in 2013 to form the APC and his influence is seen as an opportunity for the people of Kogi East to have selfless leadership.
Hon.Ajaka is the current Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Party (APC),he is a front-runner in the governorship primary election in Kogi State coming in matter of hours from now, he is being touted as a competent and qualified successor to Governor Yahaya Bello in 2024. Ajaka’s supporters believe that he would win the primary election if the governor provides a level playing field and the APC delegates listen to the voice of the people, citing his philanthropic and youth empowerment programs that cover the entire state.
Hon. Ajaka has always desired a better life for his people and the society in general. He has demonstrated this in the lives of people including indigent students, widows, the less privileged, and at various communities over the years. This has inspired him to seek a platform in public service to impact more on the larger society.
He is a multi- talented, distinguished Kogite, and a dedicated personality with his modest calling in helping people, he identifies their needs and acts as a catalyst and a bridge from their current state to their next level. He is a dynamic, resourceful and goal driven individual saddled with the responsibility of bringing values to the lives of every Kogite.
He is eloquent, brilliant, social, courageous, stupendous, humane, patient, humble, prudent and honest. He has invested in both capital and human development both at home and beyond, and he has promised to invest more on these, if given further support by the people as the next governor of Kogi State.
He is a great philanthropist who is always moved by the poor conditions of the under-privileged individuals around him. He is known for his munificent deeds in both Kogi State and Nigeria in general. He has continuously supported social organizations, the sick, orphans, widows, artisans, journalists, destitute, security agencies and religious organizations with money and land to carry on their activities in the state. He has protected their interests in several ways.
Hon. Ajakais coming into the race for the governor of Kogi State with the overriding interest to run an inclusive government, where unity, peace and development will take the front stage. His vision is to ensure an abiding cooperation among Kogites and chart the course for a mutually respectable relationship with the people.
As someone from a humble background, coupled with his love for humanity, Hon. Ajaka popularly called Muri is interested in raising the bar of governance in the state with the sole aim of improving the lot of the ordinary Kogites. To him, the development of the state is paramount and non-negotiable, while an improved economy and unity of the state is sacrosanct.
His leadership experience is not in doubt. He has all that it takes to deliver, if given the opportunity to serve. He’s been tried, tested and confirmed. He is a true pan-Kogite and a great unifier, a man of inestimable moral rectitude, a trailblazer and man of excellence.He is better qualified for the position than any other contender that has declared interest so far. His intention to join the race for governorship is not a desperate quest for enrichment, a superfluous chase after self-aggrandisement, a quixotic adventurism on the podium of our national politics or an attempt to pursue hedonistic political careerism in any form. No, but rather he is genuinely inspired to provide credible leadership to Kogites.
Hon.Muriis coming in as the next governor with an impeccable character, total honesty,wholesome dexterity and to move governance to the next level that will impact meaningfully on the people of the State.
He has built friendship across the entire state in the last couple of years and has critically observed and seen the problems being faced by the people and have vowed to make and promote governance that will change the old narrative of the state. Already, he has identified some critical areas that need urgent attention such as economic downturn, insecurity, unemployment, hiccups in the education and health sectors as well as infrastructure decadence that have to be attended too quickly.
To many close watchers of Hon. Ajaka, he has been described as the best individual to occupy the seat. They have said,“he deserves it” considering his past contributions to the people of the state. We appeal to all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) throughout Kogi State to support and vote for Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka as the party governorship candidate slated for tomorrow 14th April, 2023.
