On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I warmly and heartily felicitate with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the good people of Kogi State on the auspicious occasion of the 2023 Democracy Day celebration.
On this auspicious occasion, we sincerely appreciate the sacrifices of our nation’s founding fathers which laid the foundation of the democratic ideals and its sustainability in the country over the years.
We also celebrate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for sustaining such ideals through remarkable and indelible achievements since mounting the saddle over seven years ago.
We therefore, reflect on this historic moment while striving with confidence, for more of sustainable growth and development of our Dear State and Nigeria at large.
It is our sincere wish and prayer that we continue to uphold the tenet of peaceful coexistence devoid of religious and ethnic sentiments, and tap into the strength of our diversity for meaningful progress.
As an institution of higher learning, we will continue to encourage staff and students to imbibe the values of hard work, dedication, and patriotism which are essential for sustainable democracy.
While we assure His Excellency of our support in the efforts to ensure the sustainability of democratic ethos in the State, we enjoin all Kogites to continue to be actively involved in the building of a sustainable democratic culture for the benefit of current and future generations.
