Fanwo urge  Kogites to reflect teachings  of Jesus Christ during Christmas, new year celebration

* Mindful of safety of lives on highways, waterways.
The Commissioner for information and Communications,Hon Kingsley Fanwo has called on the people of Kogi State to ensure the safety of lives and property in the festive season and beyond.
Hon Fanwo gave the charge in his residence in  Lokoja during a courtesy visit from Journalists.
Speaking during the chat,Hon Fanwo admonished commuters on safety on the roads and waterways urging them to obey road signs,Road Safety Officials and be patient with other commuters to ensure safety for all before,during and after Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“Despite that we are celebrating,we must adhere to the rules and regulations of the country,eat and drink moderately and ensure peaceful co-existence  in Kogi State”,Hon Fanwo said.
Hon Fanwo implored Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ and apply them in  their daily lives through demonstration of sincere love to their neighbors irrespective of their religious,social and tribal background.
He commended the   Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello (CON)for ensuring peaceful celebrations through provision of the necessary logistics  for security adding that no celebration  can take place in a chaotic environment.
While wishing every Kogite pleasant and splendid celebrations,Hon Fanwo urged the people to continue to give their unflinching support to the policies of GYB Administration.
