*Bello, Ododo, Sultan to grace Occasion
Programme of activities for the inauguration of a multi millions naira magnificent mosque in Ajiyolo Ajikpome in Dekina local government area has been released by the Organisers-Ajiyolo Ajikpome Moslems community
According to the official statement made available to journalists on Tuesday in Lokoja , said the ceremony holds on Friday 12th January, 2024.
Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Governor elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo will be special guest and guest of honours respectively.
It further stated that the Sultan of Sokoto and the president general of Juma’atu Nasri Islam[JNI] , Muhammed Abubakar Sa’ad 111 and ,Atah Igala and president kogi State council of chiefs, Doctor Mathew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa . Others are ,Eje Dekina, Usman Obaje,Eje Ankpa, Alh Ahmed Yakubu,Ogohi Anyigba, Shaibu Okolo,Ejeh Ofu Alh.Akwu Obaje,and Nda Paddy Usman,the Emakoji Ata-Ajiolo Ajikpome would serve as spiritual and royal fathers of the day.
It further stressed that Speaker of the 8th House of Assembly,Rt. Hon.Aliyu Umar Yusuf will chair the occasion, while the secretary general of Jumaatu Nasri Islam, Professor Khalid Aliyu Abubakar is the guest speaker and Alh Yakubu Yusuf Okala, Auditor General of kogi State will be the Chief host .
Recall that in a bid to provide conducive atmosphere for Muslims in his community, the Auditor General of the state, Alhaji Yakubu Okala undertook the construction of the multi million project.
Meanwhile,the once Serene Ajiolo Ajikpome community is currently beehive of activities and wearing a new look as the community is putting finishing touches on the magnificent Mosque centre in preparation to receive and give arousing welcome to the august visitors billed for the inauguration.
