*GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME*:CP ONUOHA, PRESENTS CHEQUES WORTH N19,150,477.87K to Deceased officers’ next of kin
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Bethrand C. Onuoha, psc (+), today Tuesday 8Th July, 2024, presented Cheques worth Nineteen Million, One Hundred and Fifty Thousand, Four Hundred and Seventy-seven naira, Eighty-Seven kobo (N19,150,477.87k) on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, to the families of six Police Officers who died in active service.
The CP, while presenting the Cheques in his Office disclosed that, the gesture is part of Group Life Assurance Scheme aimed at improving the welfare of the families of the deceased Police Officers. He appreciates the IGP’s efforts in reducing the hardship faced by the families of the fallen heroes. He urged the beneficiaries to make use of the money for the betterment of their families.
The beneficiaries thank the IGP for the gesture and promised to use the money for the benefits of the families.
