Education: Dr. Pius Audu advocates massive investment in Education to curb Social vices.
Education has been described as the only available weapon to fight insecurity, banditry,insurgency,thief, abduction, and aberrant behaviours in the society.
It is also is an venue for that the sons of the poor and sons the rich can come together under one roof thereby forging a stronger relationship that can  benefit them in the future
A renowned educationist and a director with God’s International College of Education ,Ogugu in Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State ,Doctor Pius Audu gave assertion while fielding questions from Journalists in Lokoja,kogi state capital.
Doctor Pius Audu explained that the founders of God’s International College of Education Ogugu mooted the idea for the establishment of the citadel of learning to fast track sound and qualitative education to the generality of the people of the state and by extension the country.
According to him, the institution which was set up about five years back has graduated two sets of students,recently matriculated new intakes and has met the requirements of the federal ministry of Education, corporate Affairs Commission[CAC] and kogi state ministry of Education .
“We have [ Institution] gotten approvals from NCC since 2015, Registered with JAMB and recently attended JAMB policy conference held at Abuja, these are to attest to our preparedness to deliver sound education to our people”, Pius noted.
Doctor Pius Audu, further stated that the founders have similarly established nursery and primary/Junior secondary schools at Anyigba and Ankpa respectively geared towards bringing affordable and alternative education to the door steps of the citizens of the state.
The Educationist urged Nigerians ,kogi state and Igala extraction who are desire of obtaining admission ,acquiring knowledge and quality education to approach the God’s International College Ogugu,in Olamaboro local government area to address their education needs.
” Accordingly quality education can free the people from poverty under development,insecurity,banditry and societal crises ,saying that God’ s International College of Education Ogugu is in existence to provide the educatioanal solution”.Pius further quipped.
