PDP woman leader , Mariam Adama affirms APC track records
Thousands of the officials, stakeholders and members of PDP, ADC , SDP and other parties have defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress APC in Omala Local Government Area of kogi.
leading the members from the 11 wards ,to the APC, the PDP Woman Leader, Hon. Mariam Adama, noted that their action was an affirmation of the vision and mission and in sync with renewed Hope agenda of the APC which has shown significant improvement in the lives and wellbeing of the people at the grassroot.
The event, described as one of the most significant political developments in recent times, marked a decisive shift in the political structure of Omala LGA.
According to Hon. Mariam Adama “my decision to join the APC was driven by my conviction in the party’s vision for inclusive governance, sustainable development, and genuine empowerment. The APC’s track record and leadership style reflect the aspirations of the people of Omala.
“This decision is not about personal interest, it is about the progress of our people. My supporters and I believe the APC offers a more credible platform for development, unity, and the empowerment of women and youths, she said.
Receiving the d effectors ,APC leaders commended Hon. Adama for her bold step and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fairness, openness, and full integration of all new members.
They expressed confidence that her defection, along with the hundreds who accompanied her, would further strengthen the APC’s political base across the local government.
The ceremony ended with wide jubilation as residents celebrated what many have termed a new dawn in the political landscape of Omala LGA.
