RETRACTION.
This is to bring to the notice of the general public,media organisations both within and outside the shores of Nigeria, and particularly His Excellency,former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris CON, Jakadan Sokoto of the publications in both an online medium, Treasure times’ and Daily Independent titled ‘Xmas and New Year Celebrations, Ex-Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Enjoins Nigerians To Have Fear Of God In Their Daily Activities’ and Yuletide; Ibrahim Idris Urge Nigerians To Have Fear of God , separately.
The publications which was made on the 2December 20, 21 , 2021 has it’s contents in all the paragraph a direct misrepresentation of the statement made by the former Govenor of Kogi state both in writings ,contents and quotations.
This is against the firm belief and position of the former Kogi Governor not to antagonise,confront or oppose leadership of the country both in actions and reactions.
The story line which had generated alot of controversies and disagreements in the public domain was the sole idea of the news men of the two media organisations, that brought the reports to public fore,as the former Kogi Govenor was not aware of the expressions made both overtly and covertly with reference to government and governance in Nigeria.
The two time Governor had no cause to draw a battle line with the present administration, but orchestrated by the reporters whose sole idea was to misrepresent his expressions.
In this vein, I here by retracted the two misinformations before the general public, the two time Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris CON, Jakadan Sokoto, with a public apology tendered unreservedly.
The general public is hereby notified that on on conditions and account should the former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris be linked to the news items, it’s contents both in words and quotations.
With public apology to the general public, particularly the two time Governor,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris CON, Jakadan Sokoto,the news items is here by retracted forthwith.
