The Commandant of Nigeria security and civil Defence corp’s,NSCDC, Niger state Command, Haruna Bala Zurmi has reiterated the Commands readiness and commitment in enforcing the Niger state government order for the ban of commercial motorcycle riders known as Okada or Kabu-kabu in Minna metropolis .

In a Press release made available to the Journalists in Minna by the Command Public Relation Officer,ASCCI Nasir D.Abdullahi stressed that the enforcement is in line with the Niger state Government order within the confine of the law as enshrined in N.S.L.N. No10 of 2021 Road traffic Cap118, Laws of Niger State of Nigeria 1989 Niger state Road Transport/Traffic as (Amendment) Regulations 2021.

He stated that With effect from Friday 4th June,2021,the operatives of NSCDC alongside other sisters security agencies will fully be mobilize to enforce the ban of the commercial motorcycles in Minna metropolis.

The State Commandant called on the general public to adhere strictly to the order as nobody will be spare when caught violating the law.

He then warned officers and Men of the Corps to comply strictly with the order as any officers caught violating the law will face full wrath of the Law ;
