2 Dare Devil PoS Robbers nab in Kogi, recovers #43,200.
The kogi state police command said it have arrested the duo of Timothy James 38yrs and Comfort David 44yrs both of Zaki-Biam, Benue State who specialises in robbing POS attendants.
The suspects had robbed their victim one Jammai Maryam Bashir 23yrs with the sun of fifty thousand, two hundred naira at her POS business point along Cemetery road, Lokoja at about 0945hrs.
They carried out their nefarious act under the guise of performing deliverance on the victim and thereafter robbed her.
The victim immediately after she had regained consciousness, raised alarm which led to the arrest of the duo at Nataco on their way to Abuja and recovered the sum of forty three thousand, two hundred naira from them. Efforts is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicates.
In a press release signed by the command PPRO DSP William Aya and made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday said the suspects confessed to the Commission of the
crime. They further confessed that, they had robbed in Jalingo, Makurdi, and Otukpo.
According to the police image maker, the suspects will be arraigned in court on completion of the investigation.
