Press , Government Relations; Yobe Governor Presents Hiace Bus To NUJ
In his avowed commitment to sustain cordial relationship with the working Journalists, the Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has on Friday presented a brand new Toyota Hiace utility Bus to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Yobe Council.
Presenting the car keys and decuments, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Baba Malam Wali commended the Journalists for bringing up issues from the grassroots for considerations.
In his vote of thanks, Rajab Mohammed, Chairman NUJ Yobe Council thanked Governor Mai Mala Buni for the support and cooperation to the working Journalists in the state “Governor Mai Mala Buni is the most media friendly Governor in Nigeria, one interesting thing about him is that he positively responds to the media criticism. He has always considered the press as his partners in progress because we come up with issues affecting the grassroots which he acts immediately.”
The NUJ Chairman assured that the members will continue to discharge their social responsibilities professionally in accordance with the ethics of the job. “We will continue to discharge our duties in line with the professional calling, training of our members has been our topmost priority”.
