Breaking; Bandits shot dead Major General Hassan Ahmed, Wife abducted.
Major General Hassan Ahmed has been shot dead by gunmen believed to be bandits onThursday night in the Abaji area of the FCT even as the wife was whisked away to unknown destination.
Ahmed who was formerly provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, according to the family source was said to be coming from Okene to Abuja when he met his untimely death
“They opened fire on his vehicle, he died on the spot The driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the wife away”, the informant said.
The Chief of Army Staff, Faruk Yahaya recently appointed Ahmed a Director at the Army Headquarters in Abuja.
However the Army is yet to confirm his death.
