- Dr Aminu Atabo has congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid El Kabir festival,insisting that beyond the festivities, the celebration should be used for prayers for the people of Efab community,and Nigerians at large.
The president tasked the people to increase prayers, sacrifices and perseverance in this season.
According to the chairman of the estate,the significance of the season should be beyond the festivities. It should be a sincere commitment to righteous conducts in private and public lives,”
“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us renew our faith and implore the almighty God to restore to us those values that places high premium on human lives, love for our neighbours and sharing the good will even as we ventilate our faith in the unity of our dear Estate.
While urging the faithful to see the period as one to be their brothers keeper by sharing with those who are less privileged, Dr Atabo urged them to imbibe the lessons of the holy prophet in sharing and sacrifice as signified by the teachings of the scripture.
The president urged efab landlords and tenant association to continue to uphold the lessons of love, loyalty and sacrifice which are the hallmarks of the festival, demand more support for this present administration in the estate to enable it achieve its desired plans for the people.
Dr Atabo prayed for witnessing yet another celebration in love and in good health, prayed for God’s grace to enable the faithful to celebrate many more festivals in the land of the living.
