Niger NUP urges Government to implement consequential adjustment for pensioners.

The Niger state Council of Nigeria Union of Pensioners NUP has urged the Head of service to expedite action in realisation of the implementation of the consequential pension increment.
The Union stated this in a communique jointly signed by the Chairman Isyaku Ndagi and the Secretary Abdullahi Baba Sani .
The Union appealed to the State Government to intervene in the payment of the monthly pension, gratuity and pension arrears, adding that it will reduce suffering of its members.
The Union also called on the state government to make available the contract of Pension administrator for timely clarification in case need arises.
In the communique all the twenty five local government Areas should henceforth send quarterly report of their activities to the state council.
Also in the communique a vote of confidence was passed on the state Chairman,the Secretary and the entire Union executives .
