MAN Elects 7 Executive officers in Minna.
Magistrate Association of Nigeria MAN, Niger state Chapter has elected a seven man committee to pilot the affairs of the state Chapter of the Association in Minna the state capital.
The election which took place at the High court complex Minna,four position where returned unopposed while the remaining position of Treasurer, financial Secretary and public relations officer were contested.
The position of the Chairman went to Hajiya Hauwa Baba Yusuf of Chief Magistrate Court 2 Tunga,Vice Chairman went to Abubakar Mami of kontagora Chief Magistrate Court and Murtala lbrahim elected the association Secretary General others are, Assistant Secretary general Shehu Danmasani, Treasurer Halima Alhassan, Financial Secretary Christiana Barau and Samira Wombai Zakari was elected the Public relations officer.
In his address the out going Chairman of the Association,Nasiru Mu’azu advice the new executives to see their victory as a call to duty and to serve with sincererity of purpose.
He appealed to them to shun any act that will bring disunity among them and to always see themselves as one indivisible.
He urged magistrate in the state to continue to uphold the respect for the association and their senior colleagues adding that “respect is reciprocal and respect for them should not be compromised for any reason”.
Speaking on behalf of the elected executives,Hajiya Hauwa Baba Yusuf promise to carry every person along and they shall do their possible best to improve on the welfare of the members.
