Niger Vigilante Commander vows to enforce ban on petrol in Jerry cans, cattle markets.

Niger state government has been assured of the cooperation of Niger state special vigilante corps (NSSVC) in total compliance and enforcement on the ban,Sale of petrol in Jerry cans and suspension of weekly catle market in the state as part of measures in addressing security challenges in the state.
The Commander of the Niger state special Vigilant corps Nasiru Mohammed Manta disclosed this in his response to the recent government suspension of all weekly cattle markets across the State.
“Any vehicle carrying cattle into the State must show Way-bill and evidence of the origin where the cattle were purchased and their destination.
Sale of petroleum products in jerry cans or any other containers at filling stations in the State is hereby banned.
All filling stations should not sell petrol of more than N10,000 to each vehicle at a time and should be wary of vehicles or motorcycles coming for repeat purchases.
Government suspends the operation of trucks carrying firewood/timber across the State.
All motorcycles are only allowed to operate from 6:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m across the State.
The Commander Nasiru mohammed Manta assured the government the readiness of his men in strict compliance and enforcement of the measure in the state.
He then appealed to the general public to comply to the government order,adding that any person or group of persons who violate the order shall be made to face full wrath of the law he added.
