Kogi police arrests 4 suspected kidnappers, Armed Robbers, recovers 2 human skulls, pistol, cartridge, G3 ammunition.
The Kogi state police command said four armed robbers, kidnappers who have terrorising the people of Bassa Local Government Area of the state have been arrested.
The Force Public relations officer of the command DSP William Aya stated that following credible intelligence that, suspected some suspects had gathered at a compound in new Jarusalem Oguma area in Bassa ,as the operatives raced to the place and arrested the suspects.
According to the Aya, those arrested include Guda Dangana, Dogo Chure; Dekina Zhiya
and Samson Nyizo .
Items recovered include, one locally made Pistol, one 7.62mm ammunition, one cartridge, one G3 ammunition and two human skulls
Aya noted that the suspects have made useful confession of their involvement in series of criminal activities within Bassa axis.
Suspects will arraigned in court on completion of investigation.
While commending officers and men of Bassa Division for their prompt action thated to the arrest of the suspects, the Commissioner of Police CP Idrisu Dauda Dabba assured members of the public that, Kogi State Police Command in collaboration with other security agencies will continue onslaught against criminal elements operating across the state.
He said the suspects would be charged to court after completion of investigation.
