2023 Presidency; Gov. Bello is our choice– Forum of Former Political Office Holders in Kogi State
As the the political activities for the 2023 general election , begun to gather momentum, Forum of Former Political Office Holders in Kogi state has thrown its weight behind the candidature of Gov. Yahaya Bello for the presidency.
This is as the forum has called on other platforms across the country working for the same project to join hands with the forum for the actualisation of GYB to PYB
The forum which is made of appointees of this present administration but were later dropped held a press conference on Monday at the NUJ Secretariat , Lokoja .while pledging their unalloyed support for Gov. Bello to win the presidency.
The forum assured that if elected , Gov. Yahaya Bello will move the nation forward in all sphares of socio-economic development of the country.
According to Spokesman of the Group Dr Abdulsalam Bawa Dangana, former Special Adviser to the Governor on legislative matters lauded the unprecedented achievements of Gov Bello, called for support from Nigerians home and abroad.
Bawa who noted that though they were out of Government for now, but they are still actively involved in assisting the Administration within their capabilities to ensure that it delivered the dividend of Democracy to the people.
While noting that Gov Bello has done well in the areas of security and unifying the country, ingredients that is most needed for development of the country, urged the people of the state and indeed the people of Nigeria to work for the actualisation of his presidency.
