Christmas Celebrations; IMAAN Greets Staff, Persons of concern, harps On Support From Non Governmental Organizations, Citizenry.

The Hon Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons NCFRMI, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim said the only way to give the persons of concerns a sense of belonging that will aid a speedy Reintegration, Rehabilitation and Resettlement is to attract more support from whole of society, as government can not do it alone.
She made this observation during her Christmas and new year message to the staffs of the commission and the persons of concerns at various locations in Nigeria during the holiday season.
Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim stressed the need for more partnerships and collaboration with government through corporate bodies,public spirited individuals, organised private sectors to ressolve the lingering challenge of over 3 million displaced Nigerians scattered within and outside the country.
She stressed the need for an intensive and intentional approach towards durable solution which will give a sense of responsibility and belonging to the stateless, returnees, Migrants, and other vulnerable in our society.
She commended and applauded the present administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for the high level of commitment towards the IDPs in Nigeria, not only towards their welfare but especially towards their becoming self reliant economically, socially through gainful and meaningful engagements.
Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim wished all person of concern happy celebration and assured them of government’s concerted efforts to return them to a more desired level of normalcy, while continuously working on enhancing their resilience.
