CUSTECH VC Marks Birthday in style

The Vice Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku today celebrated his birthday. The celebration which took place in his office was attended by all the Management Members and other staff of CUSTECH, Osara.
The Registrar of CUSTECH Ma. Olufunke Hudson took her time to lead the Christian prayer and she expressly committed the Vice Chancellor into the hands of God almighty while wishing him good health and longevity. She further described him as not only serving as the head of CUSTECH but also a man that can be referred to as a father figure to all those working under him.
Also, Alh. Sanni Kabiru the Director of Internal Audit at CUSTECH, Osara led the Islamic prayer committing the Vice Chancellor into the mighty hands of Allah (SWT) for divine protection and the knowledge needed of him to steer the affairs of the ivory tower committed into his hands to oversee.
Other members of Management at CUSTECH, Osara ranging from Mr. John Alaji serving as the Bursar, Mr. Jeremiah Salifu the Librarian and Arch. Usman M. Ahmed the Director of Works and Physical Planning took their turns to eulogize Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku for doing so well with his style of handling the affairs of the institution since his assumption as the Vice Chancellor. They prayed that God almighty will guide and guard him in all the steps and decisions he will be taking to bring out the best that is expected of the institution.
Responding to the many good comments made by all the staff of CUSTECH, Osara who gathered to celebrate with him, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku said, “I am full of praises to God almighty for allowing me to be highly favoured among men right from cradle.
Whatever I am today is simply as a result of the grace of God upon my life of which I lack enough words to appreciate him even as much as I try to do.” He added that most of his academic pursuit were based on scholarship right from secondary school even to his tertiary level of education.
He talked about the need for all to be diligent with whatever their hands findeth to do as that is the only template that can take one to greater heights.
He also thanked the government of Kogi State who deemed it fit for the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara to be established before he was also seen as worthy to serve as the Vice Chancellor.
The popular birthday song of Evi Edna Ogholi was played to celebrate Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku during the cutting of his birthday cake which was followed by light refreshment. All those who were present took pictures with the erudite Vice Chancellor to serve as a red letter day to them.
