Group Commends Bello over appointment of Habibat Oyiza Tijjani as Director.
Women group , under the aegis of Frontline Women Association FWA in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, has commended Governor Yahaya Bello over the appointment of Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Tijjani as Director of Accounts, Ministry of Local and Chieftaincy Affairs.
In a statement by the leader of the Association, Hon.Sefiya O. Abubakar, the group also thanked the Governor for his interest in the progress of the women by appointing them to key positions in his administration.
While congratulating Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Tijjani, the group described her as a square peg in a square hole, saying her elevation was well deserved.
Hon Safiya promised that the women will continue to support her in her new assignment to succeed, noting that the women cannot afford to disappoint the Governor.
“We are going to work with her and support her in her new office to succeed. The Governor puts so much trust on the women. We can’t afford to disappoint or fail him.
“We are equally calling on all the women of Kogi state to support all our fellow women that have been appointed into various positions of responsibility. This will encourage the Governor to do more for us.
“I want to remind my fellow women that what the Nigerian women are clamoring for, going to sleep at the national Assembly everyday, is what God has used His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello to do for us on a platter of gold. We must therefore guide it jealously by supporting our own.
“We prayed that the tenure of Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Tijjani as Director of Accounts, Ministry of Local and Chieftaincy Affairs will be successful.
