The founder , Enemona Humanitarian Foundation, Ambassador Gabriel Onoja, has advised his childhood friends and business mates to display high level of integrity and commitment to their vocations for a prosperous and God given future.
This is just as he warned them to stay away from crimes and criminality in order not to truncate their potentialities in contributing to the growth of the society.
Onoja, gave the advice yesterday , when he stopped over at Ogbese Okada Park in Akure District of Ondo state to encourage his former Okada riders” colleagues to be of good behaviour and to shun all acts of crimes.
Onoja, who was full of joy to have connected with some of his Okada riders at the junction, maintained that it is only hardwork and integrity that can unluck opportunities and not the other way rounds.
He added that his life should be a testimony to them, at a short period of his commitment to excellence , he was transformed from Okada riding to being a blessing to the widows, orphans and indeed to humanity.
He reminiscent his growing up days that he ventured into Riding Okada to keep soul and body together, said God took noticed of his commitment to the vocation and opened up channels for him that has made him a benefactor to humanity.
He added that while plying his trade at the Ogbese Junction, he contested for the position of Chairman of Okada Riders Association and lost , stressing that there is always a blessing in all situations, urged them not to dispairs but to continue to work harder.
” I decided to stop over to see you. As one of your own , i have to advise you to continue to work hard, as there is dignity in labour. My life should be an example to all of you. It is working smart and God’s blessings that has taken me to this level.
” It is my advice for you to shun all forms of crimes,. In fact , i get infuriated when some goes about displaying themselves as Yahoo boys. It cannot take you very far. It bring you into collision with the law of the land. The only thing that can guarantee sustainable growth is character and confidence in oneself” He advised.
Onoja, who also visited Madam Chinyere restaurant located at the park , said , “I used to eat at the restaurant and it will not be nice for me to pass without stopping over to see her.
He commended the promoter of the restaurant and some hawkers who were there, when he used to Ply his trade and they are still selling , urged them to see God in their lives, as an appropriate time he will transform them.
He took time to take photographs with the old friends , even as he blessed them handsomely.
In a remark, the leader of the Okada riders, Ogbese branch commended him for his tenacity and commitment to hardwork saying ,no wonder that God has tremendously blessed him.
He stated that even when Onoja was with them, he was always full of hope and he hate engaging in any sharp practices, as he constantly keeps encouraging them to show commitment to their vocation and to engage in other lawful ventures.
While thanking him for not being ashamed of them and still keep identifying with them, pray to God to protect, provide and sustain his endeavours.
