The All Progressives Congress Primaries is getting messier with the arrest and suspension of two Council Chairmen.
A source from Ijumu who spoke with Newsmen on condition of anonymity lamented the threat to deliver the Speaker as candidate of the APC for Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency by all means.
According to the source, it is regrettable that two council Chairmen of Mopamuro and Bassa are said to have been suspended for failure to deliver preferred or anointed candidates, expressed worries about the internal democracy’s of the APC that is at play.
The source disclosed that following the pressure and to actualize their wishes, the Council Chairman of Ijumu LGA is said to been arrested with genuine delegates replaced with stooges that are ready to do their bidding in the operation deliver the Speaker at all costs.
Recall that it was all over some section of online report about the intimidation that led to making some delegates to take oath as administered by some traditionalists yesterday, an action that didn’t go down well with the delegates to vote for anointed candidates in the federal Constituency.
For now there is an ongoing efforts to conduct a shabby primaries devoid of the rules and regulations with heavy tension and anxiety in Ijumu LGA as the APC members felt disenchanted.
