The wife of the Executive Chairman of Idah Local Government, Hajia Salamatu Ibrahim Odomah has been conferred with honours Award as the most celebrated Chairperson in hospitality and Guests Relations in Kogi State.
Presenting the Award to the Idah Local Government First lady at Idah, the Chairman of G4 Media International Abuja, Hon. Stephen Emmanuel described Hajia Salamatu Odomah as a woman of substance and bride to womenfolk.
Hon. Stephen Emmanuel maintained that Idah First lady has become an enigma in Kogi State politics as she has been an emancipator of women and down trodden in the society as well as impacted positively on the life of many people through social and economic empowerment including capacity building and training for youths and women skills acquisition.
He stated that Hajia Salamatu Odomah’s record of achievements that have her to touch and change life of the people for better was one of the guiding principles that qualified her for award.
The G4 Media Chairman reminded the recipient to continue to toe the line of honesty, accountability, integrity and a stabilizer of Hon. Abu Odomah family and the society.
He therefore called on Idah First lady to see the award as the beginning of many more goodies to come to her while urging her to remain focus in her services to her fatherland.
In her speech at the occasion, Hajia Salamatu Ibrahim Odomah appreciated G4 Media Abuja for the Recognition and Award and assured that this will spur her to continue in her selfless services to her husband and people of Idah Local Government.
Hajia Salamatu Odomah then dedicated the Award to Idah Women who have rallied her to achieve success in her activities as the Chairperson of Idah Local Government.
She called on the women to join hands with her to achieve more success for the people, progress and development of the area.
She commended her husband, Hon. Abu Odomah, the Executive Chairman of Idah LGA and other Executive members of the council and appealed to them to join hands together and work as a team to deliver more democratic dividend to Idah people.
Idah First lady assured that she will continue to emancipate Idah women for APC and then appealed to the council Chairman to consider women in the scheme of things in the council.
In a remark, the Chairman of Idah LGA, Hon. Abu Odomah appreciated the G4 Media for recognizing his wife for the award and described her as a great pillar of support in his political career.
He said, his wife is a lady of beacon of hope, stabilizer of family life and lover of women.
The while restating his commitment to advance the cause of Governor Yahaya Bello Administration to better the lots of Idah People, reminded Idah people to remain steadfast in APC and vote all candidates of the party in next year General elections.
