Niger Govt. Assures Pensioners timely payment of Gratuities.

Pensioners in Niger state have been reassured of timely payment of their Pension and gratuity.
The Acting Director General of the state Pension Board,Nasiru Namaska stated this in Minna when the Executives of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners NUP paid him a courtesy visit in his office yesterday.
The Acting Director general, Namaska explain that alot of enovation have been embarked upon by his office, pointing out that Pensioners with severe challenges will receive assistance.
Namaska called on the Pensioners to continue with the peaceful coexistence that exists with the Board and the state.
He mentioned that the state government is doing it possible best to make the Retirees in the state smile.
The Chairman Nigeria Union of Pensioners NUP, Niger State chapter, Comrade Isyaku Ndagi commends the Board for identifying the Pensioners challenges.
Comrade Isyaku Ndagi then called on the Board to as a matter of urgency end the challenges of missing files or documents of Retirees as well as time waisting in sorting out files of retirees.
He appealed to the Board to end the extortion of Pensioners by the middle men within the board premises,he equally used the visit to disassociate the Union from the protest by some Retirees,he appealed to them to maintain due process.
