Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State Swears in two High Court judge,two Khadis.

The Niger state Governor, Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Sani Bello has tasks newly appointed Judges of the High court and Sharia court Khadis to always have fear of God in their dealings.

The Governor stated this at the swearing in ceremony of two High Court judge and two Khadis of Sharia court in Minna the state capital yesterday.

He said”I call on you to know the weight of the assignment on you as a Judge,as you will judge us here but God will judge you thereafter”.

The Governor stressed that the state government is aware of the numerous challenges Judiciary is facing most especially in the area of administrative staff and Judges.

Governor Sani Bello said that the appointment and subsequent swearing in of the Judges and Khadis signals that more appointments are coming to fill the vaccum that exists in the area of manpower.

Those appointed are Aishatu Wodu Bawa and Isaac Jiya as High Court judges,Shehu Ibrahim Yunusa and Mohammed Ahmad Isah Dalibi as Shari’a Court Khadis.

Responding on behalf of the newly sweared in Judges, Justice Aishatu Wodu Bawa commends the Governor for making their appointment possible and the Chief Judge of the state Halima Abdulmalik for her doggedness in ensuring it happens.

Justice Aishatu Wodu promise that they would do their best in the despensation of Justice in the state as enshrined in the law and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

She appealed to those yet to be appointed to exercise patient and  continue to work hard as one day it will come to pass.
