85yrs Grandma ,Hajia Habiba Isah, kidnapped in, Kogi State
# Children pleads For her Release
Hajia Habiba Isah, a Grandmother resident at Ajakolia, in Abocho , Dekina Local government of Kogi State has been abducted while observing her (Ishai) Night prayers in her house. .
On that faithful tuesday night, Hajia Habiba Isah was said to have performed her ablution and completed her night ‘Ishai’ prayer around 8:25pm.
According to an eye witness account, two young men emerged with bike and met her in her room, after exchanging pleasantry, they introduced themselves as her son’s errand boys who work for him in one of his ongoing housing projects in lokoja, claiming that his son sent them to bring her to a neighbouring village close to her.
“They deceived her saying their boss do not want anybody to know that she was around the neighborhood, assuring her that they will return her back to her village.
” Hajia Habiba Isa was eventually taken away, but with the company of six other kidnappers that came out from the bush to assist in conveying the old woman to an unknown destination.
“Getting to know that those around her were kidnappers, Hajia Habiba Isa prayed to God and confidently told them she will not follow them any longer , insisting that they should rather kill her at the spot.
“It was serious argument until one of them started to use diplomacy to plead with her and finally follow them to the Bush,
“Around 11.45pm that Tuesday night they called the particular son that they used his name to abduct her, ask her to talk to him and tell her son that she has been kidnapped by unknown people.
As at the time of writing this report 15million Naira ransom is being demanded by the kidnappers.
The kidnappers promised that the old woman will not be hurt but it is only ransom they needed for her released.
Another eye witness account who narrated how it happened also said the kidnapped old woman was tricked by that her son was eager to see her in the neighboring village.
The elder son of the abducted Hajia Habiba Isa also confirmed the abduction of his biological mother,calling on the security agencies to ensure her release on hurt.
