Niger state CJ Constitutes Local Govt. Election Petitions Tribunal, Tasks them to lives up to expectations.

The Chìef Judge of Niger State, Justice Halima I Abdulmalik has swear in Chairmen and Members of the Niger state local government election tribunal for the three senatorial zone in the state.

The Chìef Judge in her speech at the swearing in ceremony at High Court complex tasks them to be mindful of the time line of the exercise.

Justice Halima also call on them to be careful of guide lines of the procedure, stressing that they should be wary of the time of  filling processes, time to take evidence and should be within the time frame, adding that service of notice is very important “the bailies whom are drawn base on their experience, am with the believe that they will be able to deliver”.

The Chìef Judge then call on the Chairmen of the tribunal to allow members of the election tribunal to give their opinion on the judgement to ensure that the judgement is Free, Fair and balance.

Those appointed are as follows, Zone A senatorial District, H/W Ramatu Adamu. Chairman, H/W Ruth Ibrahim and Suleiman Ibrahim Mohammed Members.                      Zone B senatorial District, H/W Ummulkaltume Mohammed Chairman, H/W Fati Mohammed Bawa and Ahmed Shehu, Members.                                            Zone C senatorial District.                 H/W Adamu Abubakar Chairman, H/W Abdullahi Mohammed Bawa and Musa Jbrin Imam Members.

Responding on the behalf of the swears in judge’s and the members, Suleiman Ibrahim promised to do everything possible to ensure that they meet up to the time line and to do justice to any petition before then.

He thank the Chìef Judge for the honor done to them and assures not to disappoint her.
