Dr. Julius Elukpo Esq , a foremost governorship aspirant on the platform of PDP, said , he has dropped his gubernatorial ambition following the outcome of the Saturday, 25th February, 2023 presidential and NASS elections.
In a statement of appreciation to his supporters on Dr.Julius Elukpo4Governor WhatsApp platform , he noted that after diligent appraisal of Presidential and NASS elections, he decided to “slow down” his ambition.
According to the legal giant, renown academics and politician who decried the outcome of the result which left much to be desired, by both local and international communities informed his decision to halt his ambition.
” It was my resolve to take decision after appraisal of the Presidential and the National Assembly Elections. However, they have come and gone, but the memories have left much to be desired.
“Consequently, I have resolved to soft pedal on my political ambition and aspirations, if experience is anything to go by. I wish to sincerely thank you all for your cooperation and your believe in me. God bless you all.
