Easter Celebration: Be your brother’s keeper, Fanwo charges Kogites.

As Christians all over the world marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Kogi state commissioner for Information and Communication,, Kingsley Fanwo has challenged kogites to reflect on the price he paid for the liberation of  humanity.
The Commissioner also congratulated  Christians   for the successful completion of  forty days Lent season that culminated  to Easter celebration.
Hon. Fanwo said this in Lokoja on Friday in a chat with journalists.
He called on Christians to see Easter as a time of sober reflection and the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ urging Christians to emulate the light of Christ and be their brothers’ keepers adding that  by so doing, they are the light of the world.
Hon. Fanwo called on Christians to demonstrate love to one another, expressing his optimism  that Easter will bring promotion and success to the people of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
He admonished Christians to remember the  vicarious  sacrifice made by our Lord Jesus Christ as a practical demonstration of His unconditional love calling on Christians to  follow the right path shown by God.
The Commissioner pointed  out that Easter offers us the opportunity to rethink the essence of our humanity, enjoining Christians to use the occasion to pray to God to heal our land and make it a better place to live in.
Hon. Fanwo appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello for making the lives of Kogi people better through the provision of infrastructure across the State.
He wished all Christians Happy Easter celebrations and prayed that the miracle of Easter brightens their lives with love and immense happiness for them and their families.
