The candidate of Action Democratic party ADP, Barrister Julius A.N. Elukpo PHD has assured the people of Kogi state that if elected Governor, he will focus on human and infrastructure development driven by a commitment to transparency, probity and accountability in running government businesses.
Elukpo made the disclosure on Thursday, when he received his Certificate of Return from the National headquarters of ADP in Abuja.
He called on the members and stakeholders of the party to forge a common front in ensuring that the party wins the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
He noted that as a man that has waged plethora of wars against injustice, corruption in high places, will surely run the state craft with the fear of God in order to deliver the dividend of Democracy that the people had been expecting.
He said, as an elder statesman and a man that was in the struggle for the creation of the state and have been contributing to her growth, will ensure that he brings in his private sector and public sector experience to galvanise its rapid transformation.
He called on the people to avoid tribal, religious sentiments, but to focus on his capacity, credibility and competence in voting for him in the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election.
While felicitating with the Muslim brethrens for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast , urged them to imbibe the essence of the yearly spiritual rejuvenation in their relationship with one and another.
