” Caution against in House Conflict.

The Management of Imo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission ISOPADEC, has pledged its readiness to partner and synergises with her counterpart of kogi state Oil Producing Area Development Commission KOSOPADEC to fast tract its development.
The Chairman of ISOPADEC, HRH Eze Amuzienwa Dele Odigbo made the disclosure when he received in audience , Management of KOSOPADEC on Thursday in his office in Owerri Imo state capital.
The Chairman  called for strengthening of relationship between the Chairman and Managing Director and to avoid issues that will engender friction, which will undermine growth and development of the commission.
While explaining the circumstances that led to dissolution of previous managements before his appointment, said the  in house discord between the Chairman and Managing Director, would not do anyone good and appealed for close gaps to ensure that each party is accorded its  rightful position in the commission.
The Chairman further disclosed that the ISOPADEC is structured into 7 departments headed by technocrats whose wealth of experience has brought about positive development to the people of the state.
He applauded Governor Hope Uzodinma for the free hands given to the commission to deliver it’s mandates while  thanking  Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo  for choosing Imo state as the first commission to be visited by Kosopadec and pledge to support it to maturity.
Responding  the Managing Director of KOSOPADEC James Omonu Jackson noted that the strategic position of ISOPADEC and the mutual relationship between kogi and Imo state governments were catalysts for the choice of Imo state as first state to  be visited
He explained that the Management has to  undertake the peer review tour of ISOPADEC because of its wealth of  experience and long standing development which it has been offering the people, which is worths emulating for the success of the commission
He said the experience that the ISOPADEC had gathered since it’s inauguration in 2007 had made it a  force for a newer commission like Kosopadec to understudy for them  to fast tract development by the commission.
” Out of the  commissions earmarked for visit , ISOPADEC was chosen as first to be visited by the  commission. This is as a result of long standing relationship between the two states. Our coming here today, whatever experience we gathered will be replicated in our state. We have seen the advancement so far made and we are prepared to bring the idea back home.
While commending Government of Imo state and the management of ISOPADEC for granting the visit, appreciated the progress so far made by the commission.
In the same vein, the Chairman of Kosopadec, Suleiman Ndalayi Abdullahi, promised to put together ideas generated by the visit so that the commission would commence on sound footings.
He added that in an attempt to be abreast with its counterparts in other states,  decided to use Delta state route for this journey in order to see first hand projects executed by the state.
He said the contingent felt at home due to the mutual relationship that existed between the two states and hope for the substance of it.
Members of the entourage , include, the Secretary of the board, Suleiman Mohammed, Executive Director, social services Engr. Usman Mohammed Nda,  Isah Yakubu Jatto, Olori Micheal, others are Omattah Abuh, and Utenwuojo Alogwuja
Highlights of the visit was the tour to the headquarters of ISOPADEC and some selected  projects executed  across the state capital, Owerri.
