The Kogi State Wing Of The Nigeria Union Of Teachers ‘NUT’ Under the Leadership Of Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo has sent a message of appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello for the payment of salaries to Primary School Teachers in the State before the last Sallah Celebration.
The State Chairman of NUT in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, described the payment of salaries to Primary School Teachers before the last Eid El Fitr Celebration as one that was unprecedented, described it as first of its kind.
The NUT Chairman expressed optimism that with the sympathy shown to the Teachers by the prompt payment of their salaries, says it looks forward that moving forward Teachers Salaries will increase from the percentage it used to receive in the past.
The NUT Chairman expressed confidence that the coming months will witness improved salary payment to the teachers, urged it members to redouble and renew their loyalty the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello.
