The Candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA , Idoko Kingsley Ilonah, has assured his teaming supporters of his capacity and capabilities to win the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi state.
The candidate of SDP, Kingsley Ilonah made the disclosure on Wednesday in Lokoja at a world press conference organised by the party to intimate members and electorate about the progress of the campaign strategies adopted to win the poll.
The spokesperson of the Ilonah/ Bawa campaign organisation, Aliyu Ibrahim, assured that the party standard bearer, Idoko Ilonah, whose pedigree in outdoor advertising, will bring his wealth of experience to change social economic narrative of the state.
The APGA campaign spokesperson lamented at the rate of Unemployment which is about the highest in the country has hightened the multi dimensional poverty rate in the state , promised to change the situation, if voted into office .
He pointed out that the citizens are suffering in the midst of plenty , assuring that all hands would be on deck to tap all minerals resources embedded in the soil of Kogi State, for the quick fix of the state.
“If elected as the governor of Kogi State come November 11, 2023, our administration will work hard to change the narratives within shortest period.
He assured the people of Kogi State that under the APGA government , the state would largely depend on the internally generated revenue for her development agenda.
He said his administration will in addition to generate IGR, will exploit other avenues to avoid waiting for monthly allocations, positing that youth empowerment would be his focal point as the state will establish industries in the zones with comparative advantage.
He therefore called on the electorate to chose wisely and vote for the candidate of APGA Idoko Kingsley Ilonah and his running mate ,Yakubu Bawa in the coming election in the state.
He added that the standard bearer has become an international brand , who has brought new thinking to outdoor advertising, stressing that in short while he has become the biggest global bill board advertiser and also a real time realtor., Who is poised to change the fortune of kogi state.
The image maker noted that kogi state in her economic and governance difficiency, cannot afford to have a learning governor, hence, the need for a man that have the competence and capacity to turn around the state.
He said that all efforts to correct the ugly situations in kogi ,which has been ranked among the five most expensive states in Nigeria, as the forthcoming election has provided opportunity for the state to reclaim its potentials by voting for Idoko Ilonah.
He added that with the right person in the saddle, the label placed on the state as the highest state with unemployed citizenry, infant mortality and adult morbidity and recognised for infrastructures dilliguency, would transformed the state to a cynosure of states.
According to him, there is no other candidates that can do this except Idoko Kingsley Ilonah, who after studying geology, delved into a different field, and has done so well to become a global brand, stressing that his expertise, if deployed will change kogi to a first world.
He said with the abundant mineral and human resources in the state, the standard bearer will galvanise her potentials to rake in Internally generated revenue IGR that will turn kogi from central government dependent for its survival.
He called on the people of the state to maximize their support for the candidate of SDP , whose antecedent is capable of rescuing the state from its present predicament.
