The elements within The Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba (PAAUA) Alumni Association opposed to the emergence of Dr. Julius Atabo Aruwa as president have tendered unreserved apology for their roles in the  purported publication allegedly suspending him.

According to the letter of retraction signed by Comrade Okeme Y. Okeme and made available to newsmen on Tuesday stated in part.”We hereby retract the earlier publication claiming that Dr. Atabo Aruwa Julius, the National President of the Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) Alumni Association, had been suspended by Congress over alleged abuse of office and that the Vice President, Central, had been nominated as his replacement.

“The said publication was not an official position of the Association and does not reflect any recognised decision or resolution of the Association. It was allegedly circulated by its sponsors and should not be regarded as an authentic communication from the Association

“We regret any embarrassment or misunderstanding the earlier publication may have caused Dr. Atabo Aruwa Julius, the leadership and members of the PAAU Alumni Association, as well as the general public. Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard the earlier publication* Okeme clarified.
