” Endorses Muri/ Sam candidature.
A group under the aegis of  Muri Ambassadors Network, stated that  only the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and it’s Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Muritala Ajaka could return Kogi back to its glory of being the best administered state in Nigeria
Speaking for the  group, during the formal inauguration of the Association in Lokoja over the weekend, Amb. Obaje Hassan-Mustapha,  said  they were solidly behind Ajaka’s quest to returning Kogi back to the People come Nov. 11 Governorship Election.
Mustapha said that the group understands Muritala Ajaka’s struggle to salvage the soul of Kogi from the alleged maladministration of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) under the leadership of Gov Yahaya Bello.
“What we all gathered here for today is to see how we can collectively appeal to electorate to buy into the Muri/ Sam political struggle  to rescue the state and  return it to the path of growth and prosperity.
“Extraordinary times, as often said, require extraordinary measure, therefore  Kogi needs to choose  an extraordinary candidate that possesses an extraordinary gift of leadership and character, competence,  to matched the extraordinary demands of the good people of the State.
“Of course, that person is Muritala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), a phenomenal young man, who has  been inspiring a lot of young people across Kogi.
“His exemplary rise to fame has taught us the very importance of humility, integrity and compassion, that have endeared him to the Almighty God,” he said.
The spokesman said that Ajaka rose from a humble background like most of us, within quite limited circumstances to become the renowned and highly placed personality we celebrated today.
He argued that the SDP candidate’s accomplishments over the years were rightly rooted in Henry van dyke’s postulation that “Some may succeed because they were so destined, but many succeed because they are determined”.
According to him, When the role was called for the most outstanding and exceptional personality to lead kogi state for the next for years, Muritala Ajaka’s name featured prominently .
“Ajaka is a man known for his track record of philanthropy and outstanding leadership qualities, and who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the less privileged, women, little children, youths, communities and Kogi State phenomenal measure.
“when the right person is place in position of leadership, great things apparently happens, just like they do during the days of Prince Abubakar Audu (God Rest his soul).
“He is a brother. His genuine love for peaceful coexistence among the people of kogi state makes us readily want to be like him.
“Today, I am proud, on behalf of  this network, to endorse Muritala Ajaka for the governorship of Kogi state. With Ajaka, it is a question of moving from ruthless reign to one with empathy and hope.
“This is because for eight years now Kogi has been under siege and more worrisome is the audacity with which food/our lawful entitlement are taken out from our mouths.
“Nigeria is changing and People are beginning to ask for compassionate leaders, who understands the plights of the poor and possessed the conscience, compassion and will power to address them.
“We believe Kogi stands in the forefront of states begging for good leadership, which we have to bring out through our votes for SDP and Ajaka on Nov. 11 governorship election, ” he said.
Mustapha argued that even President Bola Tinubu desires to have around him good and competent state governors, who could drive and deliver leadership dividend to the people at state and local government levels without suffocating them.
He added: “I believe the president had Kogi state in mind when he said “let the poor breath” as it is up to us to decide wether or not we want to breath as citizens.” He advised.
